Sam Winter is a filmmaker and digital media veteran.

Raised in Kansas, trained in New York, based in Los Angeles.

Experienced in documentary film, post-production, branded entertainment, podcasts, writing, creative development and showrunning episodic series.

Created videos and original series in-house at Condé Nast and Vice Media, and later helped startup content studio Audio Up launch 25+ scripted and branded podcasts in its first two years of business.

Directed + created branded series for Apple Music, Converse, Pandora, Ray Ban, Gatorade, Budweiser, Forbes, Olympic Channel, Uninterrupted, Team Whistle, Los Angeles Lakers, Golden State Warriors, and Major League Soccer.

Extensive international documentary experience spanning many hemispheres, latitudes, and longitudes of the globe.

Currently directing + producing branded video series for Team Whistle featuring college + pro athletes.

Played college basketball at Harvard before continuing on to study film + television at Syracuse's Newhouse School of Media.
